Write a commentDawn E. Hammond,71, a former resident of the Oswego, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in New Hartford.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Phenia (Seeley) Hammond.
Dawn was employed with Oswego Industries for several years and always greeted people with a smile.
Surviving are two sisters, Viola Kunzwiler, of Oswego, and Inez Ricci, of Phoenix Ariz.; a brother, Kenneth Hammond of Sedalia, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Martha Attwood and Marguerite Wyman; and two brothers, Francis "Sid" Hammond and Charles Hammond.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
