Dawn E. Hart, 78, of Oswego, passed away December 23, 2014 at Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Nina (Harding) Dumas. She worked as a Manager for AT&T in Syracuse, NY. Dawn enjoyed golf, cooking, spending time with her family and loved her home. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the bowling hall of fame. She was an active member of the Minetto United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Donald "Sam" Hart; a daughter, Michelle (Raymond) LaVere of Oswego; a son, Richard (Kim) Hart of Oswego; three brothers, Fred (Emily) Dumas; Richard (Kathy) Dumas and Edward (Sandy) Dumas, all of Minetto; four grandchildren, Stacie LaVere; Lyndsea Hart, Matthew LaVere, Stephanie Kaiser; three great-grandchildren, Rachel, Mattilynne and Leah; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Lyle Dumas, Don Dumas, Lois Lafore, Tessa Price, Mary McCann, Barbara Hitchcock and Doris Godfrey.
Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Minetto Methodist Church. Spring burial will be in the Minetto Cemetery.
