Denise passed at Syracuse Homes, Syracuse, NY on Thursday, September 11th, 2025; after having to endure an illness. She was born to the late Thomas and Shirley (Norton) Ingersoll.
Mrs. Knapp retired from the Fulton Consolidated School District where she was a master of all trades in the food service department including baking. She was also past employed with KBC, Fulton, NY; a member of the Volney VFD Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of The Daughters of the Nile.
Mrs. Knapp is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years: Loren Knapp of Fulton, NY; and their beloved family: 2 children: Jason E. (Toni) Knapp of Columbus, OH and Dr. Amy L. Knapp of Cave Creek, AZ; 3 grandchildren: Mathew Knapp, Emilee (Devin) Knapp Diamond and Joshua Knapp and 2 great grandchildren: Coraline Diamond and Freya Martin and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, September 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 25th at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., with Martin Monteith from the Fulton Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY.
