Donald J. Morley, 65 of Oswego passed away Tuesday morning at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Don was born in Oswego and was the son of the late John and Martha Callaghan Morley.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Delia Morley.
Don was a graduate of the Oswego High School class of 1969.
He had been employed for many years as a pipefitter and was a member of Local #73. He was also an employee of Mitten Manufacturing in Syracuse.
Don loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed gardening, the casino, football, auto racing, and playing the guitar.
He was formerly a member of the pit crew with the Mike Muldoon Racing Team at the Oswego Speedway.
In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa A. (Brian) Klefbeck of Oswego, Julia (Timothy) Simpson of Greensburg, PA, siblings, John (Sharon) Morley of Oswego, and Mary (Ken) McGonagill of Georgia, three stepchildren, Lisa (Joe) McNish of Mallory, Jennifer (David) Keville of North Syracuse, and Joseph Santoro of Clay, nine grandchildren, Dylan Klefbeck, Emily Simpson, Julia Winnicki, Kelly Jo and Kristie McNish, Faith Keville, Jaime Benarick, Jaxon and Jagger Santoro, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday January 7, from 1-4PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow at 4PM.
