Born in Preakness, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Romano) Weinmann.
Dorothy worked as a telephone operator for Jersey Power & Light company for many years.
She loved spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Kenneth Smith; her daughter, Linda (Alan) Kaechele of FL; her son, David (“Cassy” Ilona) Smith of TN; and her two grandchildren, Tyler and Nicholas Smith.
Services will be held 11 am Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
Burial will be on a later date in the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
