Write a commentDorothy "Pug" Laurent, 88, of Oswego, died July 5, 2019 at Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. Sr. and Rose (Butler) Costello.
Pug enjoyed bird watching, nature, traveling and vacationing. She also enjoyed spending time with family and baby sitting the neighbors children.
Surviving are three daughters, Kristy (Jamerson) Potter Laurent of New Haven; Kathleen (Joe) Miceli of Oswego; Denise (Carmen) Guinta of Minetto; three sons, Douglas Laurent of Scriba; Barry Laurent of Oswego and Gordon (Shannon Mills) Laurent of Oswego; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter (Popeye) Laurent and her siblings, Leonard Costello Sr., Kenneth Costello, C. Thomas Costello, George Costello and Dolores Oldenburg.
Funeral Services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 3-6PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
