Obituaries

Douglas Knight, 68, a resident of Oswego passed away on Thursday, August 4 at his home.

Born in Parish, he was the son of the late Francis and Alice (Perry) Knight and was a graduate of the APW High School.

He was employed with Alcan and the International Paper.

Mr. Knight had a deep love and respect for the United States of America. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam.

Surviving are his daughters, Christina Knight and Heather Knight Koerner both of Oswego and a granddaughter Kaylynn Knight.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
