Born in Burke N.Y., he was the son of the late Walter and Evelyn (Rhinehart) LaMay and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. Edward was a member of Teamsters #312 in Syracuse and was currently employed with Northern Aggregates. He was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to hunt and fish.
Surviving are his son, Christopher (Heather Ellis) LaMay of Fulton, two sisters, Mary Lancaster of Scriba, Kathryn (Randy) LaMay-Cormier of Oswego and Lake Charles,La. and a niece Jessica Cormier.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
