Write a commentElizabeth L. Barbera, 91, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at St. Luke's Health Services.
Born in Fulton, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Catherine (Parker) Rebeor.
Elizabeth owned and operated The Beauty Nook Salon for more than 35 years.
She, along with her husband, owned and operated the Parkside IGA Supermarket, in Oswego.
She enjoyed bingo, music, and spending time with her family.
Surviving is one son, James (Roberta) Barbera, of Oswego; one daughter, Gail (Chuck) Bisesi, of Liverpool; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Barbera, in 2005; her grandson, Charles F. Bisesi Jr; five brothers and five sisters.
Services and burial will be held privately,at the convenience of the family, in St. Peter's Cemetery.
