Write a commentEmployees of Constellation Energy Nuclear Group's (CENG) Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station delivered a generous donation of Thanksgiving food for families that they adopted through Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
Each year the employees of CENG generously support the efforts of Catholic Charities to help make the holidays a little more special for those less fortunate in their community.
"It's a wonderful gesture on their part," said Helen Hoefer, supervisor of community services at Catholic Charities. "Their generosity makes it possible for us to provide families in need with a complete Thanksgiving meal."
Catholic Charities of Oswego County serves all people in need regardless of their religious affiliation. Primary funding sources for Catholic Charities of Oswego County's programs are the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the Diocesan Hope Appeal, the County of Oswego and private donations by individuals and local companies and organizations.
