Eric A. Mulcahey, 77, a resident of Oswego passed away on March 30 at his home.
Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Albert and Elsie (Izyk) Mulcahey. He was a graduate of St.Mary's School. He was also a member of the first graduating class of the Oswego Catholic High School and had attended OCC.
He was employed with General Electric, Niagara Mohawk and later retired from Fitzpatrick.
Mr. Mulcahey was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in the 1960's.
He was a life member of the Oswego Elk's Lodge #271 and was a member of the Oswego Moose Lodge #743 and the American Legion #268.
He enjoyed boating, camping, traveling, woodworking and loved to read.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Kathy Walker, a son, David Mulcahey of Oswego, a daughter, Denise (Dan) McCann of Oswego, two stepsons, Richard (Darlene) Mulcahey of Charlotte, Bill (Ellen) Francis of Mexico, a brother, Edward (Lynne) Mulcahey of Union Springs, a sister, Cynthia (Jim) Currier of Georgia Mills, New Hampshire, 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his stepson, Duane Francis.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 from St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00-7:00.
