An exhibition of artwork by SUNY Oswego advanced illustration students will open at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, with a free public reception and live musical entertainment at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in downtown Syracuse.
In the exhibition titled "Everything Illustrated: VI," SUNY Oswego students Samuel Castaldo, Samantha Fuller, Kendi Kajogo, Jen Osborne, Ana Paula Retore, Trish Steinberg and Harold Vaz will display illustrations representing a wide range of approaches, influences and illustrative points of view.
Signature Syracuse, a combo comprised of students from Syracuse and surrounding school districts, will play at the reception. Established in 2000 by the nonprofit educational organization Signature Music, the holistic program provides free lessons and instruments, performance opportunities, guidance and college preparation for teen musicians.
"Everything Illustrated: VI" will run through Jan. 31 at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in The Atrium at 2 Clinton Square in Syracuse. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays, 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Fridays, with variable hours on Saturdays.
