Celebrate the bounty of Harvest with at Colloca Estate Winery in Fair Haven, NY on Sunday, October 17, 2021.

Wander through the vineyards, take an Estate tour, taste their new releases, meet their award-winning winemaker and learn about the winemaking process, enjoy delicious food, and dance to great music all day long. Admission is free.

STOMP & CHOMP

Visitors can try their at grape stomping at 4 pm followed by a Grape Pie eating contest at 4:30 pm. Both events are FREE to enter and enjoy.

  • STOMP Details. Kids and adults alike can try stomping grapes to extract their juice just as it was done in the old world. Be sure to wear shorts or pants that can be rolled up. We will have a washing station to help. No pre-registration is necessary to stomp. Just show up at 4 pm and be ready to crush it.
  • CHOMP Details. Our Grape Pie Eating Contest will have 2 Divisions - Kids (13 and under), and Adults. Contestants will be timed in eating a pie without using their hands. Prizes will be awarded in both divisions.

TOUR

At 2 pm, and then again at 3:00 p.m. an Estate Tour will be given by Dr. Chris Colloca himself, beginning in the vineyard, and continuing through the property. Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at the 103-acre waterfront Estate and learn about the history of the property, its development, and the special micro-climate that the southern shore of the great Lake Ontario provides. You’ll be treated to a wine tasting in the vineyard and along the Estate’s 900 feet of pristine waterfront while learning about the winemaking process from grape to bottle. The Tour is $15 per person and can be purchased online at www.colloca.com.

FOOD & WINE

The Food and Wine tent will be set up outside offering all of their wines and ciders by the bottle and by the and this delicious Harvest Festival Food Menu.

Here's What's On the Menu:

  • Clam Chowder - $10 • Harvest Salad of Beets Apples and Goat Cheese - $8
  • Kebabs with Lettuce, Tomato, & Tzatziki - $12
  • Paella Valencia - $20
  • Authentic Spanish paella with Bomba rice, chicken, chorizo sausage, littleneck clams, and shrimp

MUSIC

  • Dance. We have LIVE MUSIC all afternoon long for your entertainment.
  • Dave Wolever - 12-4 pm • The Arcade – 4:30-8:30 pm

The Harvest is a magical time of year with all of the sights, sounds, and smells of the bounty that makes up a winery. Wine tastings and food will be offered for offered for sale all afternoon, with the Tasting Room open from 12 pm to 6 pm, and the Wine Bar and Wood Fired Kitchen open until 9 pm.
