Look for the four FallOween witches from October 27 through October 29 as they will be "flying" by all registered entries in the first FallOween Oswego event.
FallOween is the "brain child" of Martha Barrett at Merriam Barrett Guest House, and developed by iHeartOswego.com along with Bonnie Kelly of Let's Party and Laurie Marrano-Johnson of The Seth Project.
"We thought that a fun, free contest for decorating in a Halloween or fall theme would be a great way to perk up the city streets this season," Barrett said. "We invited Let's Party [Bonnie Kelly] as she owns the local party store and we want to support wonderful businesses like hers."
"We need more great events like these to create the supportive synergy between local businesses and our residents who take the time and effort to shop locally," Marrano-Johnson said.
"We would like to thank iHeart Oswego for always being there to help bring our ideas to life!" Barrett added.
The registration date for FallOween has been extended through Oct. 26 or until 100 entries have been made, whichever is first.
For more information, go to www.FallOweenOswego.com or visit its Facebook page. The contest is open to all residents in the 13126, free of charge. Prizes totaling $425.00 will be given to the first, second and third place winners.
iHeartOswego.com and iHeart Corp have developed events like The Golden Pumpkin Awards, The Children's Christmas Parade and Heart of Christmas. Now, FallOween has been added to the growing list of events iHeartOswego.com continues to provide for its fellow community members.
