Born in Fulton, NY, he was the son of the late Farrell Phillips Sr. and Lina (Switzer).
He worked in the Farming Industry for many years.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed trapping.
Surviving are his daughter, Patricia Chapman; two sons, Mark Phillips and Timothy Phillips; a brother Richard J. Phillips Sr.; Rick Phillips; a sister Arettia Phillips.
He was predeceased by brothers Michael and John and Kirk Phillips, a twin brother Terry Phillips.
Calling hours will be held 3-5p.m. Wednesday, with services to follow, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
