While several FCSD students recently participated in the New York State Band Directors Association Music Festival in Liverpool March 1 and 2, many others are ecstatic to show off their vocal and instrumental talents during a variety of upcoming performances. The public is welcome to attend all FCSD Music in Our Schools Month concerts and activities, which are listed below:
* March 7-9, GRB's Musical "Anything Goes"; all shows begin at 7:30 p.m., and a 2 p.m. matinee also will be offered March 9
* March 13, FJHS Concerts: 7th Gr, 6:30 p.m., 8th grade chorus and jazz at 8 p.m., both @ GRB
* March 20, Granby concert from 6-7 p.m. @ Granby
* March 21, Fairgrieve chorus concert from 6-7 p.m. @ Fairgrieve
* March 21, GRB chorus concert @ 7:30 p.m. at GRB
* March 22 and 23: All-County Orchestra Festival @ GRB
* March 25, FJHS 8th Gr. band concert from 7-7:30 p.m. @ GRB, followed by the GRB bands concert at 7:30 p.m.
* March 27, Lanigan concert at 6:30 p.m. at Lanigan Elementary
* March 28, FJHS 8th grade orchestra concert from 7-7:30 p.m., followed by the GRB orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. @ GRB
