Come out this Thursday night, December 16th, to the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center and enjoy a night filled with fun and holiday spirit!
Six local restaurants are going head-to-head in a friendly, but competitive, cupcake bake off. These restaurants include GS Steamers, Press Box, Canale’s, McCarthy’s, Sherry’s Downtown Diner, and Kristen’s Kitchen from Battle Island. Each restaurant will be baking festive cupcakes to be judges in several categories by our local judges. Judging this fun competition is Michelle McVey - owner of Chelle’s Bake Shop, Deana Michaels – Fulton City Mayor, Gibby Thompson – owner of Gibby’s Irish Pub, Phillip Cady – Oswego Chief of Police, Eric Torrese – Owner of Oswego Speedway, and Tory DeCaire – Director of the Child Advocacy Center.
Attendees to the event will be able to enjoy live music by Trap and Andy, followed by The Jess Novak Band, participate in raffles and a 50/50, hop in and take a photo in our photo booth, and much more. There will also be a cash bar with some festive cocktails as well as food available for purchase. You can also do some last-minute shopping with some local small businesses. Tickets to the event are $10 and can be purchased on EventBrite under the New York Adaptive Golf page, or you can visit the front desk at the Clarion Hotel on East 1st Street in Oswego and purchase your ticket there.
All proceeds from this event will benefit New York Adaptive Golf. With your attendance to the event, New York Adaptive Golf can continue to reach their goals of bringing the game of golf to those who have not had the ability to play; with the use of paramobiles, and other innovative technologies. At New York Adaptive Golf, it is very important to have the support we have from individuals, families, and businesses in our communities.
