Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Antonina (Malek) Kaczowka.
Frances worked as a librarian at SUNY Oswego prior to raising her family.
She enjoyed gardening, golfing and bowling. She loved Bird watching and feeding Birds, Frances was a Yankee fan and SU Basketball and Football fan, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters; Karen (James) LaRue of Texas, Susan (Gary) Roik of Fulton, a son; Robert J. Hageny Jr. of Oswego, four sisters; Mary (late Fred) Kon, Helen (Frank) Plata, Estelle (late Neil) Lloyd, and Bert (late Stan) Tracz, grandchildren; Jake LaRue, Garet Roik and Elizabeth Roik.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2011, two sisters; Theresa (Stan) Osetek, Ann Kaczowka.
Calling hours will by held Tuesday 11-1 pm, with a service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street, Oswego.
Entombment will be in All Saint’s Mausoleum.
