Frances M. (Clare) Chambers, a former resident of Oswego passed away on September 2 in Albany N.Y.
Born in Oswego, She was the daughter of late Albert P. and Catherine J. (Reed) Clare and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling particularly to Las Vegas. Mrs. Chambers was the Past County Commander of the American Legion Auxiliary and volunteered for many activities at the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are her husband of over 65 years, William C. Chambers of Delmar N.Y., a daughter, Catherine Goggin of Glenmont N.Y., a grandson, John (Amy) Goggin of Troy N.Y., granddaughter, Rebecca (John) Poole of Clarksville N.Y., a brother, William Clare of Dade City, Fl., a niece, Suzy (Phil) Naylor of Fulton N.Y. and four great grandchildren, Addyson Poole, Henry,William and Emme Goggin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 from St.Paul's Church.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8.
