Frederick J. Hill, 74, of Oswego, died peacefully at home March 8, 2016.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Frederick and Mildred (Robillard) Hill. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. He worked locally as a painter. He was the assistant manager for Bargain Shoes and was also a manger for KFC in Fulton. Fred enjoyed cooking and gardening.
He is survived by his loving wife; Valerie (Reynolds) Hill; three daughters, Renée (James) Mulcahey, Kathleen (Thomas) Gregory, and Melissa (William) Hoefer; two sons; Darren (Nicole) Hill, and Sean Hill, one brother; William Hill, and one sister; Barbara Sharkey; seven grandchildren, James (Susan) Mulcahey, Sarah Hoefer, Ryan Hill, Chiane Mulcahey, Eric Hoefer, Connor Mulcahey, Adam Hill, and three great grandchildren; Raelynn, Rileigh and Macen Mulcahey.
At the family’s request there will be no calling hours.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held 10:00a.m. Saturday March 12, at St. Mary’s Church.
