Write a commentOn Saturday, March 28th, the Oswego Public Library hosted a Frog and Toad Day for fans of all ages.
The event began with photo opportunities, crafts, and games based on the beloved books. Everyone searched for buttons to place onto a sweater in a scavenger hunt, colored kites, and played a fishing game off the S.S. Gerrit Smith in the children's room. After all these fun activities, Frog and Toad joined families for story time and a picnic tea.
We are grateful to the Oswego County Youth Bureau and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services for their grant funding in support of Frog and Toad Day and other exciting opportunities at our library. This memorable day was made possible thanks to the support of local families and the dedication of our library staff and volunteers.
