The Fulton Art Association began with community art and craft shows.  It organized in 1973 and held its first art show and competition.  Annual member shows were held every year with local artists from 8-80+ years of age, photography shows, and special exhibits of local artists’ works.  The first high school invitational competition began in 2007 with Fulton and its two neighboring districts.   Since then, Oswego joined the competition.

Fulton Art also hosted community events such as the Canal Days Art  Competition in 2002 featuring artwork of historical homes, events and landmarks, an exhibit of displays of Fulton historical families, first mayors,  and geneology lines (which have all been protected and are at the Pratt House museum), and a display of longtime local artist Eugene Kaskin’s beautiful watercolors (all loaned to the FAA by AL Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton City e piece in the show.  The artwork with the most “public” votes will receive the Viewers’ Choice Award, comparable to the judges’ Best of Show.

The show is free to attend.  Please stop in and see the amazing artwork of these talented young people.
