Fulton Sunrise Rotary Hears About "Project Lifesaver"

Leaders of the all-volunteer Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue team explained the benefits of "Project Lifesaver" at a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting.

"Project Lifesaver" helps quickly locate missing people with cognitive problems. Participants wear a transmitter on their wrists or ankles. Trained rescue team members use a radio receiver to locate the transmitter, cutting the time to find most missing people by many hours or even days. Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi's Drive-In and can be followed at https://www.facebook.com/fultonsunriserotaryclub/.
