Write a commentGary I. Overton, 61 of Fulton died Thursday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse with his family by his side.
He was born in Fulton and was the son of the late Howard and Anita LaPlante Overton.
Gary had been employed for many years as a machinist at Black Creek Machine and Tool.
He had served his country in the US Army National Guard.
Mr. Overton is survived by his very special granddaughter, Joan Overton, one son, Mathew (Stephanie) Overton of Oswego, one sister Lois (Bob) Noel of Bradenton, FL, one brother John (Michele) Overton of Fulton and several nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4PM Friday June 7, at the Wag in On the River, Fulton NY.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
