
George M. Pytlak, 72, a resident of Oswego, passed away December 21, 2014, at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse.
Born in Tehran, Iran, he was the son of the late Michael and Waleria (Baska) Pytlak. George was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving from 1964-1966. He. was a Structural Draftsman by trade. He worked as a Lineman for Felix Schoeller Paper in Pulaski. He enjoyed bowling on the Thursday night league, golfing, and spending time with his boy's and family.
Surviving are three sons, Michael Pytlak, Justin Pytlak, and Alex Pytlak, all of Oswego; one sister, Daniella Swist of Buffalo; sister-in-law, Martyna Pytlak; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Sylweriusz Pytlak and Emily Tarasek.
Calling hours will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 26, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany Street, Oswego.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Church, Oswego.
