Write a commentGerald L. Syrell, 76, of Oswego passed away Thursday at the Oswego Hospital.
Mr. Syrell was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Harry and Gladys Laird Syrell.
He had been employed for many years at Armstrong World Industries in Fulton and was a Veteran of the US Army.
Mr. Syrell is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Earl Syrell, two daughters Michele (Thomas) Gregway of Mexico, NY, Kristen Syrell of Greenville, SC, one son Ronald Syrell of Williamstown, Ny, Two brothers Richard V. ( Mary) Syrell of Mexico, NY, James E. (MaryAnn) Syrell of Oswego, four grandchildren, Hannah Lavonier, Evan Gregway, Gabrielle Syrell and Andrew Gregway and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Robert (Linda) Syrell and William (Rita) Syrell.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
