Gladys Peck Geddes, 97, formerly of Scriba, passed away April 19, 2015 at the Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Camden, NY, she was the daughter of the late H. Wells and Frances (Balcom) Stanford. Gladys loved to travel and spend time with her family. She enjoyed her winters in Florida and gardening. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a life member Past Matron and past District Deputy Grand Matron.
She was predeceased by her first husband Donald Peck (1979) and her second husband Gordon Geddes (1989).
Surviving are two daughters, Elaine (Jerry) Howe of Phoenix, AZ; Susan (Larry) Lee, of Scriba; a son, Roger (Dawn) Peck of New Haven; a step-daughter, Jane Bellinger of TX; a step-son, John Geddes of Germany; five grandchildren, Shena (Darren) Shuman, Jessica Lee (Bartley) Ford, Barbara (Kenneth) Anderson, Robert (Cathy) Hillman and Karen (Thomas) Culeton; four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scriba.
