Write a commentHarborfest needs your help! Each year over 400 volunteers are needed to put on the 4-day, admission free festival. There are a variety of positions available, from trolley hosts to children's activities assistants to merchandise assistants there is something for everyone.
"Harborfest is a great opportunity to give back to the community by giving your time," said Marta Santiago, a member of the Harborfest Board of Directors. The festival is also looking for new park managers. If you would like to be a park manager, please indicate so on your volunteer application.
There will be a screening and interview process conducted for all those interested. Previous volunteers will be receiving applications in the mail within the next week. If you have not volunteered before, applications are available on the Harborfest website, www.oswegoharborfest.com, or by stopping in the Harborfest offices in the McCrobie Building at 41 Lake Street, Oswego, NY.
