Write a commentHarry J. Knopp, 94 of Oswego passed away Friday at the Seneca Hill Manor.
He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Harry and Pauline LaPlante Knopp.
Mr. Knopp was the husband of Arlene Ranous Knopp, they celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on October 27, 2016.
Mr. Knopp had been employed for 37 years at Sealright Company from 1948 to 1985 where he retired as a production planner.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Mr. Knopp is survived by two sons Lynn(Joan) Knopp of Weedsport, David (Linda Bush) Knopp of Oswego, four grandchildren, Scott (April Shea) Knopp, Pamela (Darrin) Brock, Jeremy (Melissa) Knopp and Katie Knopp, six great grandchildren, Leah Knopp, Brittney Knopp, Camille Brock, Taylor Brock, Jace Knopp, Gianna Knopp and one great great grandchild Austin.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Calling hours Tuesday 4-7PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral home. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
