Write a commentHelen M. Raby, 95 of Oswego passed away Tuesday evening at Crouse Memorial Hospital, Syracuse.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Winifred Finner McCarthy. Mrs. Raby was the widow of the late Robert Raby who died in 1989. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church. She had been employed as a secretary at Kingsford Park School until her retirement.
Mrs. Raby is survived by three daughters Roberta (Ted) Bond of Mexico, Judy Conley and Tecia (Gary Cotton) Raby both of Oswego, one son Frederick C. "Ted" (Dorinda) Raby of Baldwinsville, seven grandchildren, Matthew (Holly) Bond, Rebecca (Eric) Mitchell, Lindsay Conley (Christopher Binder), Devin (Kate) Conley, Christopher (Katey) Raby, Erin (Richard) Hall, Chelsea Meehan (Jonathan Ford), six great grandchildren, Madison Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Alison Bond, Griffin Bond, Helena Binder and Benjamin Binder.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday May 18, in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2-4PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
