Human Concerns, Inc. Food Pantry recently received a $5000 grant from the Oswego County Community Foundation for new refrigeration and freezer units.

As the demand for our services continues to grow, we need additional storage capacity to effectively serve the increasing number of clients who rely on us for nutritious food. These essential appliances will greatly enhance our capacity to store perishable food items, ensuring that we can provide fresh and healthy options to our clients.

"This grant will make a tremendous difference in our operations," said Board President, Pete Donovan. "With this new equipment, we can increase the volume and variety of food we offer our clients, ensuring they have access to healthy and fresh options. We are grateful to the Oswego County Community Foundation for their generous support."

The grant was provided through the Oswego County Community Foundation, created in 2013, and is a geographically-specific fund created to serve as a source of permanent charitable dollars available to nonprofits serving residents of Oswego County.
