Write a commentIda L. Hall 59 of Oswego passed away Thursday, August 22nd at Saint Joseph’s Hospital following a brief illness.
Ida was born in Fulton and was the daughter of the late Ward and Betty M. (Sampson) Hall Sr.
Ida had been employed with Byrne Dairy and various management positions for over 34 years. Wherever Ida was needed she went. She was even crossing guard for the school district for several years before she took her management positions with Byrne Dairy.
Ida enjoyed going to musicals and movies with one of her best friends Jo Dowd. Ida also liked to go to Atlantic City with her other best friend Cathy Pauldine and Cathy’s family which was like Ida’s second family. If Ida wasn’t working or with her friends, then she was with Christina who she loved like a daughter. Ida also loved spending time with her fur babies, Kizzie, Kobie, and Angel.
She survived brother John Hall, and his two children Lance and Elaine. One sister, Judy Lehmann of Oswego and her two children, Bill and Jackie Lehmann. Great nieces, Adrianne and Ellie Lehman. Christina and Daniel Griffin and their children Peter and Teagan Griffin. Ida also had several nieces and nephews Ward III and Jonathan Hall, David, Brandon, and Autumn Carpenter.
In addition to her parents, Ida was predeceased by her brother Ward Hall Jr., and sister Bert Carpenter.
Ida will be greatly missed
Calling hours are this Thursday from 3-6PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be in North Volney Cemetery on Friday at 10AM
