Harvey F. Perry Jr., a resident of Oswego passed away on Monday at his home.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Harvey Perry Sr. and Velma (Godfrey) Perry and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. He was employed with the Oswego City School District, retiring in 2001 after 21 years of service. Mr. Perry was a veteran of the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany for two years. He was an avid N.Y. Yankees fan.
He is survived by his three sons, Timothy Perry of Oswego, James Perry of Fulton, Matthew Perry of Oswego, three grandchildren,Timothy Perry Jr.of Oswego, Shawn Perry of Canajaharie N.Y., Jasmyne Perry of Fulton, three brothers,Kenneth, Daniel and Frederick Perry all of Oswego, three sisters, Helen Newton, Mary Jane Groat and Marilyn Chapman all of Oswego.
He was predeceased by his brother, James Perry.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
