He was born April 2, 1942 in Oswego, N.Y. He was the son of Anthony and Norine (Comerford) Tripp.
He is survived by his companion, Nancy Wilkinson and her daughters, Shelby and Laura. His brother, Sam (Patricia) Tripp of Oswego, his sister Carol Sanford of Oswego, his children, Scott (Patti) Tripp of Lake Placid, his daughter, Marianne (Steve) Thomas of Arizona. His grandchildren Alex Tripp of Syracuse, Brandon and Evan Thomas of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was then employed by Kodak where he retired and moved to Florida. While in Florida he was employed with a masonry company for many years.
He will be missed by many. There will be no calling hours or services.
