James J. Scandura, 70, of Scriba, died March 16, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Miuccio) Scandura.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

James was a self employed barber who owned the Razor Edge, and he also was employed for the City of Oswego.

He enjoyed Golfing, fishing and motorcycles.

Surviving are his wife Norma (Stone) Scandura, 3 daughters; Sarah (Jason) Mansfield of New Hampshire, Amy (Louis) Steenson, of Florida and Jullian Scandura of Florida, 1 son; James Scandura Jr., of Oswego, 1 brother; George (Ruth) Scandura, of Oswego, 7 grandchildren and two nieces.

Services will be held privately.
