James Moody, 71 of Oswego died Tuesday morning in the Oswego Hospital.
He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late William and Adaline Barnes Moody.
Mr. Moody had been employed for many years as a bus driver with the Oswego City School District and Golden Sun.
He is survived by his wife Theresa Thompson Moody, two daughters Carol (Jeffrey) Burridge, Adaline “Angie” (Steven) Sixberry of Oswego, four sons, James Moody, Jr. of Oswego, Louis (Shannon) Moody of Liverpool, Jason (Nicole) Moody of Chittenango, Matthew (Nicole) Moody of Oswego, four brothers William (Shawn) Moody of Binghamton, Albert Moody of Mexico, Claude Moody of Oswego, Harold (Lynn) Moody of Florida, two sisters Linda (Richard) Smart of Mexico, Jeanette Moody of Oswego, numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Thursday April 7, from 4-6PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.
