Write a commentJames W. Earls, 76, a resident of New Haven, passed away August 27, 2015 at Upstate Hospital.
Born in Fresno, CA, he was the son of the late Burel and Ethel (Taft) Earls. James was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving for 13 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and loved traveling with his wife.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Mary (Wood) Earls; two sons, Jim (Darcy) Earls of Constantia and Dale (Terri) Earls of Treynor, Iowa; sister, Lavada Brown of Granite City, Illinois; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, at North Scriba Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Monday, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany Street, Oswego.
