Joan was born in Fulton, NY to the late Milton and Matilda (Kline) Baldwin. She remained a resident of Fulton, NY for most of her life.
She owned and operated Joan Smith’s Beauty Shop, Fulton for several years.
Mrs. Smith was a wonderful mother who enjoyed cooking, baking and cleaning for her family. It was important to her to make sure that her children had a nice hot meal each night.
Joan is survived by her children: Annmarie Smith; Marilyn (Robert) Passafiume; John Smith and Christine (Ron) Boland; her brothers: Milton (Nancy) Baldwin Jr. and Lewis (Colleen) Baldwin; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no Calling Hours. A Graveside Service with Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Oswego, NY; at the convenience of the family.
