The Oswego County Legislature recognized Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District Manager John DeHollander at their August meeting.
DeHollander has devoted his 35-year career to protecting and improving Oswego County's natural resources. He has used his expertise in agricultural drainage, soils, sediment and erosion control; ponds and pond site evaluation; aquatic and land invasive species; and dune preservation to educate and celebrate Oswego County's communities and advocate for local farmers.
DeHollander is an inspirational example of environmental conservation and community service.
