John “Jack” Henderson, 76, of Oswego, died August 18, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of David and Agnes (Sweeney) Henderson.
He was employed as a Laborer for the Local #214 for many years.
Jack was a well known musician and played with many bands. He was inducted into Oswego County Music Hall of Fame for Billy and the Barons.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching Jeopardy. He loved his family.
Surviving are his wife, Claudia (Daniels) Henderson; three daughters, Patricia (Ron) Dausman, of Phoenix; Jacqueline (Jamie) Flint of Hannibal; Jennifer (Kurt) Hunter, of Oregon; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, David Henderson, Frederick Henderson, Sam Henderson, Mary Hall, Dorothy Gorman and Patricia Okoniewski.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church.
Calling hours will be held 3-6 PM Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
