John P. Salvadore, 79, a resident of Duer St. Oswego, passed away December 19, 2013 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late John and Agnes (Netters) Salvador.
John was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Alcan where he worked as Foreman and off site manager. He previously worked at Marathon Paper Company. He enjoyed golfing with his chums and woodworking. He was a member of the Charles Crisafulli Post #15 and the Oswego Elks #271.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Margaret (Hewitt) Salvadore; three sisters, Kay (Joseph) Boni of Oswego; Mary Lasky of Mass; Ann Makin of Oswego; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph F. Salvador.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
