John W. Hall, 66 of Martville, NY passed away on March 8 at the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse with family members by his side.
John was born January 14,1959 in Fulton and was the son of the late Ward and Betty M. (Samson) Hall.
John served twelve years in the US Army and attained the rank of Sgt. Spk6 when he retired. He was stationed at Ft. McClellan, Alabama, Fort Carson, Colorado and Germany.
His favorite thing was having yard sales.
John had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He was people person and liked everyone that he met. Always putting others before himself.
He volunteered for the Christmas program,” Let’s Give for a Kid:” in Fulton and the Oswego Salvation Army Church.
John is survived by his children, Lance Hall and Elaine Hall, his sister Judy Lehmann, nieces, Mrs. Daniel (Christina) Griffin, Mrs. Alan (Katie) Wisniewski, nephews, William Lehmann, Ward Hall III, David Carpenter, Brandon Carpenter, Jonathan Hall, great nephew Pete Griffin, great nieces, Teagan Griffin, Adrianne Lehmann, Eleanor Lehmann, Autum Carpenter, several cousins and several friends who loved as family, an uncle Robert Samson, and an aunt, Kathy Davis of Sacketts Harbor.
Spring burial will be in North Volney Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for the future.
