Write a commentKathleen V. Donovan, 92, a resident of Oswego passed away on April 14 at the Morningstar Care Center.
Born in Minetto, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bernice (Czirr) Peavey and had attended Minetto schools. She was a homemaker and was a member of the VFW #5885 Ladies Auxiliary and also was a member of the American Legion #268 and the Oswego Moose Lodge.
Surviving are her children, Paula Stevens of Oswego, Ann Bailey of Oswego, Donna Reeves of Oswego, Donna Spear of Phoneix, Az., Daniel (Lucille) Loftus Jr. of Oswego, Patrick (Esther) Loftus of Maryland and David James Loftus of Mexico and several grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband, Joseph Donovan in 2003 and six children, Carla Jones and Carl, John, Kenny, Clarence and Paul Loftus.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 from St.Peter's Church
Burial will be in St.Paul's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00-7:00
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
