Write a commentKenneth G. Kent, 67 of Oswego passed away Sunday evening at Upstate Medical University Hospital.
He was born in Syracuse and was the son of the late Harmon Wayne and Dorthy C. Barnhill Kent.
Ken was the husband to Gloria Merritt Kent for the past 44 years.
He had been employed for many of those years as a driver with Metals Transportation Co. in Oswego.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons John (Teail) Baum of Mexico, Kenneth Kent jr. (Devenne Degroff) of Minetto, Aaron (Rachel) Kent of Buffalo, Shane Kent of Oswego, one daughter Stacie (Scott) Swinson of North Carolina, four brothers. Harmon Winnie) Kent of Cato, James (Tina) Kent of Baldwinsville, Richard (Shannon) Kent of Jordan, Terry ( Cindy) Kent of Cicero, three sisters Kelly Southard Kent of Cato, Dorothy (Jerry) Bresee of Cato and Renee (Milton) Tarbell of Liverpool, 14 grandchildren including his favorite little man Zayne Adam Kent. There is also seven grand-puppies as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Linda Sue Kent.
Mr. Kent was also a Veteran from the U.S Navy.
Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
