Write a commentKevin McTague, 63, of Oswego, died Saturday April 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Kevin was born August 7th, 1954 in Worcester, MA. He was the son of the late William and Joyce (Calby) McTague.
Kevin attended Shrewsbury High School. He graduated from the Mass Maritime Academy in 1976 with a degree in Engineering.
He was employed with Factory Mutual Global in Norwood, MA for 42 years as a Senior Engineer Specialist.
Kevin was a member of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. For 40 years (ASME) he served on many committees (Nuclear and Boiler) and was chairman ASME Section 4 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Accreditation.
Surviving are his wife, Kelly (Scaccia) McTague; two sons, Timothy (Chelsea) McTague of Port St. Lucy, Fl; Kory McTague, of Oswego; a sister Kathleen (Vincent) Palumbo, of Worcester, MA; grandchildren, Domenic, Roman and Luna Rae McTague; niece and nephew Elizabeth and Nicholas Palumbo, of Boston, Ma; his in-laws, Ronald (Carol) Scaccia and Thomas (Kimberly) Scaccia and their children Jaclyn, Ashly, Anthony and Jourdan Scaccia.
He was predeceased by a son Patrick McTague; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronald and Jane (Germain) Scaccia.
Calling hours will be held 5-6p.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Reception to follow at Vona’s Resturant.
