Write a commentThe H. Lee White Maritime Museum on West First Street is offering kids an opportunity to get in the spirit for the holidays by attending a gingerbread ornament workshop Nov. 16 from 2 p.m. to 3 pm.
Children will be provided with their choice of two real gingerbread cookie ornaments to decorate: one for the museum's main holiday tree and one to take home.
The workshop will also include a festive story, other crafts and light refreshments. The crafts will be held at the museum, so space is limited.
This activity is geared for children ages 3 years old and up. A donation of $4 per child is requested.
