     Kingsford Park Elementary School held its second annual triathlon on May 31, in which 52 children participated in the event which included swimming, biking and running at the Oswego Middle School.  

     Medals were awarded to the top 3 finishers in each grade/gender category.  Medal winners in each category are as follows:  

First and Second Grade Boys Division:

1^st: Duncan Baker, 2^nd: Parker Kaproski, 3^rd: Louie Roman

First and Second Grade Girls Division:

1^st: Raivyn Desantis, 2^nd: Mackenzie Mulcahey, 3^rd: Beverly Hourigan

Third and Fourth Grade Boys Division:

1^st: Neil Roman, 2^nd: Lucas Maniccia, 3^rd: Marcus Baker

Third and Fourth Grade Girls Division:

1^st: Sydney DeLapp, 2^nd: Bella Kaproski, 3^rd: Mia Fierro

Fifth and Sixth Grade Boys Division:

1^st: Casey Delapp, 2^nd: Peter Nalle, 3^rd: Alex Kaproski

Fifth and Sixth Grade Girls Division:

1^st: Julia Roman, 2^nd: Katie Fierro, 3^rd: Bella Rando

     The event was sponsored by the KPS Home & School Association, with support and assistance from the City of Oswego Fire, Police and Traffic Departments, Murdock’s Bicycles and Sports, Oswego Bagelry and Sandwich Shop, Oswego Sub Shop, Oswego Triathlon Club, Step One Creative, Tim Hortons, Walmart and many parent, student and teacher volunteers and Oswego City School District staff.

     First and second grade girls division participants:  Raivyn Desantis, Alaina DiBlasi, Beverly Hourigan, Mackenzie Mulcahey and Mischa Palmitesso.  

     Third and fourth grade boys division participants:  Marcus Baker, Colin Beers, Declan Donahue, Hunter Hourigan, Lucas Maniccia, Preston Norfleet, Henry Sweeney, Evan Rando, Neil Roman, Blake Uribe and Joah Defren.

     Third and fourth grade girls division participants:  Clara Back, Sydney DeLapp, Mia Fierro, Erica Greene, Isabella Kaproski, Cheyenne Ketcham, Nikki Regan and Allison VanBrocklin.

     Fifth and sixth grade boys division participants: Nathan Babcock, Tommy Back, Harley Brinkman, Connor Beckwith, Casey DeLapp, Jacob Garcia, Ethan Hunt, Alex Kaproski, Peter Nalle and Jackson Stephens.
