Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Myrtle (Young) Thorpe.
She retired from Birdseye. Lillie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going on Sunday drives.
Lillie is survived by her five daughters, Pati (Thomas) Chillson of Sterling, Sandy Magner of Oswego, Nancy (Ed) Foster of Florida, Denise (Mitch Wallace) Woodworth of Oswego, Jackie (Nick) Mitaritonno of Pulaski; her son, Mike (Peggy) Peck of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Harold O’Bey, her daughter, Cathy O’Bey, a son-in-law Thomas Magner and her siblings Oscar, Avis, and Walter Thorpe.
Calling hours will be held 3-6pm Thursday, with a service to follow at 6pm at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
Burial will be held in the spring in Riverside Cemetery.
