Write a commentLiselotte Maria Button, 83 of Oswego, NY. Beloved wife and best friend of Jay M Button of 58 years passed away peacefully Thursday April 20th surrounded by those she loved and for whom she lived.
She was predeceased by her parents Karl and Maria Locher. Born in Ellwangen, Germany she relocated to Central New York in 1958.
A devoted and loving wife and mother she dedicated her life to her family. As her children got older she again expanded her horizons by returning to college and graduating with a 4.0GPA and achieving a Master's Degree at the State University of Oswego.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Jay M Button of Oswego, NY, daughter Karin Marie Button of Oswego NY, Sons Karl (Karen Jean) Button of Minoa, NY and Eric Button of Charlotte, NC, and Grandchildren Kara Marie Button and Kyle Owen Button.
As per her wishes a private gathering was held at her home to honor her memory.
With her love of birds in mind, in lieu of flowers she requested that donations be made to the Onondaga Audubon Society.
