The Oswego Public Library invites the community to join them to hear a live stream talk by best-selling author Dan Brown, at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15.
The exciting live stream event from Lincoln Center will be his only public appearance in the United States and Brown is slated to talk about his new novel "Inferno," science, religion, codes, symbols, book publishing, movie making, and a few surprise topics.
Inferno, featuring the return of renowned Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, is set in Italy and centers on one of history's most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces, Dante's Inferno. It will be published simultaneously in the U.S. and Canada and also be available as a Random House Audio and ebook.
"Although I studied Dante's Inferno as a student, it wasn't until recently, while researching in Florence, that I came to appreciate the enduring influence of Dante's work on the modern world," said Brown. "With this new novel, I am excited to take readers on a journey deep into this mysterious realm...a landscape of codes, symbols, and more than a few secret passageways."

The live stream will take place in the Erik and Emily Cole Community Room at the Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St. The community room is available for community and non-profit groups and can be accessed from the main library by going down to the bottom of the stairs or taking the elevator all the way down to L2.
